Shock Software Export Options

7 Methods to export data in Shock6:

(Export raw data noted in option #7)


  1. On the report tab, click a box in the table and select ctrl+c on the keyboard. Paste into excel

  1. Data is not collated in a specific run order
  2. Places all rebound velocities first (positive velocities) in order from highest to lowest and their corresponding forces. Then places all compression velocities in increasingly negative order and their corresponding forces.

3. On the right side of the screen in the report tab, use the File button. Save to a file

  1. Creates a CSV
  2. Same info as is copied using clipboard method in #2 (no explicit run order, but data in the order the tests were run)




4. In the PVP Mfg. Report tab, click on a cell in the table and select ctrl+c. Paste into excel

  1. Identical to results from method #1




5.  File > Export > Export file as CSV with a single PVP selected.

    1. Explicitly states the run order, but has some odd extra data points

6. File > Export > Export file as XML

    1. Contains a lot of information but isn’t helpful without post processing and requires manual exporting first.




 

7. File > Export > Export Selected Traces

    1. Same data as Method #1 (no run order) if selecting the overall PVP from the left sidebar in shock6
    2. Gives raw force and velocity for the whole duration of all test selected if selecting individual velocities from within the PVP on the left sidebar in shock6
