Can transducers be calibrated on 493 controller hardware at the MTS metrology lab now that 493 hardware is obsolete?  

 

 

ANSWER

 

Notification:

This notification announces the end of MTS Metrology and Calibration Laboratory factory calibration support, as of October 1st, 2019, for transducers utilizing MTS Model 493 signal conditioner electronics.  This includes all FlexTest GT, FlexTest SE, TestStar IIM and Aero ST controllers. 

 

Scope:

All MTS 493 signal conditioner based transducer calibrations performed within the MTS Metrology and Calibration Laboratory located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

 

Alternative:

If customers require transducer calibrations utilizing 493 signal conditioner electronics, they can request an on-site calibration performed by the MTS Service organization.
